- How do I get started with Jamalon?

To get started, register online:
1. Go to www.jamalon.com on any browser.
2. From the homepage, click on “Sign Up” at the top right.
3. When the “Create an Account” page appears, please provide the following information:
• First Name, Last Name, and Email Address
• Password, Confirm Password
Caution: Both fields should contain the same content.
• Referral E-mail or Code
Press “Submit,” and you will have your own account on Jamalon!
Please note that all the information is encoded using SSL Technology. - Oops, I forgot my password. What should I do?

1. From the homepage, click on “Log In” at the top right.
2. Click on “Forgot Your Password?” at the bottom left.
3. When the “Forgot Your Password?” page appears, enter your e-mail address.
4. Click “Submit.”
5. You should receive an e-mail from Customer Support. Click on the link provided in the e-mail.
6. Reset your password.
7. Click on “Reset a Password.”
Now you should be able to log in using your new password. - When I access my account, it shows that my order is still pending although I have already received it!

The status is still pending to guarantee that your order have been delivered to you with no complains. In any rate, it will be updated shortly by the concerned department.
Placing an order
- How can I place an order?

1.Search for books you’re interested in using the search field and add them to your shopping cart.
2.Click on your shopping cart to see the books you’ve already added.
3.Click on “Proceed to Checkout” and select a shipping method and billing method.
4.Click on “Place order now.”
Once your request is submitted, an e-mail will be sent to you followed with a confirmation phone call. - How do I know that my request has been successfully submitted?

An e-invoice will be sent to your email right after submitting your order.
- I placed an order, but I did not receive a confirmation e-mail and don’t know my order number. What should I do?

You should receive an e-mail immediately after placing your order. If you did not receive one, Please make sure that you have inserted a correct e-mail address. If you are sure that you've typed your email correctly, please check your "junk" or "spam" folder, if the invoice is not there Send an email via ‘Contact us’ page contains your problem , your full name, shipping address and mobile phone then your e-mail will be immediately updated.
- How can I edit my shopping cart before placing an order?

- Choose the number of copies you would like to order for each title in your cart by typing the number in the Quantity field (labeled “Qty”) then click on “Update shopping cart.”
- To remove a book from your cart, click on the “X” to the right of the book you would like to remove. - How can I confirm my order?

After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail containing your order number and you will receive a phone call from us to confirm your order.
- Why does Jamalon occasionally confirm orders over the phone?

We will confirm some orders over the phone to avoid fake orders. If you have chosen cash on delivery payment method, Jamalon will always confirm the order over the phone.
- Can two separate online orders be combined into one shipment?

Two orders can be combined together into one shipment except when one of the orders has already been processed and prepared for shipment or shipped.
- What does this massage mean? "This product is not available in the requested quantity. n of the items will be backordered."

It means that the books are out of stock for now. However you can still request it from " Request a book" page.
- The book which I seek isn’t available on your website!

If you use our search engine to find a book and it does not appear in the results page, you can still order it from ‘Request a Book’ page which located at the bottom of the website pages (The footer). Make sure to mention the title of the book, the author's name and it would be great if you mention the publisher too. You will be notified within 48 hours about the statues of your book.
- The book which I seek is available but in several prices, why is that?

That's simply because each publisher on the website provides us with a unique price, however the content is the same and there is no difference in it.
- The book which I seek is available but with a different book cover, why is that?

Sometimes the book you're seeking has more than one publisher and each publisher has its own book cover or it's a different version, however you may request the version you want and do not worry the content is the same and there is no difference in it.
Billing methods
- My Visa card is not working on your website, why is that?

Try accessing via different internet browsers; you can as well try a different payment method. If the problem is not solved yet, please contact the issuance institution to support your card because you're maybe out of credit.
- Can I pay through bank transferred money?

Yes, we will send you our bank account serial number to your email address.
- Which payment methods does Jamalon accept?

Jamalon accepts multiple payment methods in order to suit the many countries we serve. You may choose any of the following payment methods:
1. Credit card:
The preferred method in terms of speed and privacy. We accept Mastercard and Visa. The card must be effective and usable (not expired).
Note: Jamalon will not add any extra charge as commission to collect funds online.
Commission to collect funds is 4% of the total bill. This is the commission charged by credit card companies, and it will be charged on the site.
2. Cash on delivery:
This service is available in Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Kuwait. Please note that this list is not fixed and is subject to updates. The commission on this service will be added to the grand total of the bill. Additionally, you may pay a partial amount of the bill before receiving the order.
3. Paypal:
To pay through this payment method you must register in Paypal website along with having a credit card or bank account and email. We recommend using this service because it is confidential and highly secure.

- One card - What is the currency that is adopted when you pay by credit card?

Credit cards are charged in U.S. dollars, and the cost is then converted to the exchange rate between the U.S. dollar and your local currency at the moment of purchase.
- Can I pay with credit or wire transfers?

We can not accept any wire transfers, unless the order has a grand total that exceeds $1000 or orders for special companies and establishments. The bank will obtain an 8% commission on any transfer.
- What are the safety standards in Jamalon?

Jamalon uses the latest technologies currently used in e-commerce to protect the confidentiality of information exchanged over the network and its privacy. When you shopping through Jamalon, your name, address and shipping address, in addition of course to your credit card number encode immediately. Your credit card number will go directly without our involve to your bank to confirm your card information and expiry date. We receive from the client only the banking permission to complete the process without any additional information. This means that the information will be protected even from our staff.

Shipping and delivery
- There is a missing book in the received shipment!

Kindly send us a scanned copy of the invoice received by Aramex/DHL along with the titles of the missing books to ‘order@jamalon.com’ and it will be sent to the concerned department promptly.
- What if I receive a book different than the one I ordered?

You may return any book that is not the same one you’ve ordered, as long as the book is returned in the same condition in which it was received.
- I received a book which is in a very bad condition and I want to exchange it!

Kindly send us a scanned copy of the invoice and a picture of the book received by Aramex to ‘order@jamalon.com’ and it will be sent to the concerned department immediately.
- Can the shipping address differ from the billing address?

Yes. By unchecking “Ship to the same address” in the checkout page, you can fill out separate shipping address information.
- How much does the shipping cost?

Shipping cost and delivery times depend on the weight of the books, the destination of the book, and the shipping method that you select upon your purchase. The shipping cost information appears before the completion of the ordering process.
- How long does it take to prepare my order? Is it possible that it will be delayed?

The preparation process takes 1-3 business days, and depends on the availability of all the books in your order along with the shipping time. Books usually take 1-2 weeks for shipping. In cases the book you've ordered is not available in our warehouses, we must contact the publisher repositories to fulfill the order . This can cause delays in processing times. And please be aware that the duration of delivery may be delayed a little bit in some countries, due to customs.
- Can you send the order to any place in the world?

- How are you going to ship the books to me?

- Are there any extra costs on delivery?

- Is Jamalon responsible for any extra fees as a result of customs?

No, Jamalon is not responsible for any fees charged at customs, the customer is responsible for these fees.
- Can Jamalon get special customs approval for “prints, publications, visual material, and auditory material?”

- How can I find the title I’m looking for?

We provide the customer with two methods to search for books. The first one is our simple search engine, where you may search for the book you want using its title, author, or ISBN. Alternatively, you may use the ‘Advanced Search’ method, which allows you to search for a title using the publisher along with all the previous details we’ve mentioned in method one.
- Are all the books listed on Jamalon available? What if some of the books are not?

Some of the books may not be available at processing time. In this case, we inform you via email or phone. Then, you can decide whether you want us to ship the available books or keep your order on hold until all books in your order are available.
- How can I find out book details?

When you click on the book’s link you will be redirected to the book's page which contains the book’s cover along with other details such as the author’s name, number of pages, publisher, type of cover, and ISBN.
- Why does the cover of the book I want to order show up as an empty, white cover?

When you see a white cover as opposed to the book’s cover, it signifies that this book is available, but the cover image is not yet available. As a result, we use a default image so that you can click on the book title and review the rest of the book’s details.
- I found the book, but the cover is not the same as the one I know.

Sometimes the book you're seeking has more than one publisher and each publisher has its own book cover or it's a different version but do not worry the content is the same and there is no difference in it.

- What does Jamalon mean?

It means the Summit of Pyramid in the Arabic language.
- You have told me that the books are available in your offices two days ago why aren't they available right now.

Please visit us in our offices in the exact day of the shipping, otherwise the books will be sent to our warehouse
- Do you have discounts and promotions, I need to have a discount, how can I get one?

You can utilize the Golden Points System whenever you purchase more than a 100$ order. As a result you will earn 50 points which are equivalent to a 5$ discount. - Can I cancel my order after I place it?

You may cancel your order after placing it, except if your order has already been shipped or delivered to the shipping company. Please provide us with the reason after canceling your order to help us improving our service.
- Can I change my address or update my order (add/delete) after placing the order?

You can change or update your order by contacting our support team at support@jamalon.com. Be sure to mention your order number and the exact details you want to change.
- I want to know the total cost of an order and shipping price without making an actual order. How can I do that?

After selecting your books and adding them to your cart, click on “Proceed to Checkout’ and you will be redirected to the checkout page and there you should select your shipping and billing addresses ,shipping and billing methods so then all your invoice details will appear next to these details. P.S shipping cost depends on the shipping address and the book’s weight.
- Can I come to your office and pick some of the available books?

You're more than welcome, but first you have to place an order and we will contact you soon to pick the books from our office.
- I wrote a book and I want to promote it through Jamalon. What should I do?

Firstly, the book must be registered in the National Library. After you select the marketing agreement for your book, it can join our library.
- How can I download a book? Do you have PDFs?

We only offer paper books and not PDFs for the time being. However, we are working on offering PDFs very soon so stay tuned.
- Where is 'Request a book' Page?

It's located at the bottom of the website pages (The footer).
- Can I send a book as a gift?

Of course you can, just give us a note once we call you to confirm the order.
- Do you sell book accessories?

Only Bookmarks and they are free.
- The prices are too high and the discount is fake, books original prices are after the discount.

- Are the prices in the website always in US dollar? How can I change it?

- The book which I’m ordering is prohibited in my country, what is the solution for that?

- Why you informing me that the book I've requested is unavailable while it appears as available in your site?

Sometimes the publishers cannot provide us with the exact number of copies available for each book. Anyhow, you still can order it from 'Request a book' category.
- Why my order is being delayed?

In cases where we do not have the book you’ve ordered in our warehouses, we must contact the publisher repositories to fulfill the order. This can cause delays in processing times. And please be aware that the duration of delivery may be delayed a little bit in some countries,
- Where are your offices located? Do you have branches?

Jamalon is located in Amman/Jordan. Anyhow, our books are being delivered to everyone all around the world.
- How long does it take to receive my books?

The processing time for the order is (8-72) hours +shipping period which is mentioned in the site during placing your order:
Arabic books: 3-7 working days.
English Books: 5-12 working days
Arabic books + English books: 7-14 working days. - How long do these deals last?
